 Salzburg\, lives south of the city of Salzburg and works as a freelance au
 thor\, cabaret artist\, director\, and host. For more than 30 years he wor
 ked at ORF as a presenter\, program creator\, and department head.\n\n\n\n
 He writes Salzburg-based crime novels centered around the charismatic inve
 stigator Inspector Martin Merana (published by Gmeiner Verlag). His latest
  novel is Salzburgwut – Merana’s 12th Case. Characters and motifs from Bau
 mann’s novels have served as the basis for TV crime dramas on ORF and ZDF\
 , including Drachenjungfrau\, The Dark Paradise\, and Flame Girl.\n\n\n\nN
 adine Buranaseda\n\nNadine Buranaseda\, born in 1976\, knows both sides of
  the desk as an author and editor.\n\n\n\nThe Cologne native with Thai roo
 ts on her father’s side lives near Bonn and studied German and philosophy 
 with the aim of becoming a teacher. Her talent for writing was discovered 
 at university: for one of the final course credits she needed in order to 
 register for her First State Examination\, she was allowed to write a shor
 t crime story\, which her professor submitted to a publisher.\n\n\n\nIn 20
 05 she published her first novel—a Jerry Cotton title—followed by more tha
 n a dozen others. After working as editor-in-chief of the SYNDIKAT and as 
 an editor at Bastei Lübbe AG\, she became self-employed in 2019 as an edit
 or and author coach.
